Me Moniz obtained a bachelor of civil law from the University of Montréal, a juris doctor from the University of Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Concordia University. At Concordia, she notably served as a research and teaching assistant to the Honourable Marcel Danis, P.C. Furthermore, at the University of Montréal, she was a representative of the Criminal Law Committee and vice-president of events in the international affairs committee of Pro Bono Students Canada.
Admitted to the Québec Bar in 2018, Me Moniz has represented or assisted members of the firm in the representation of individuals charged with a wide variety of crimes ranging from assault, theft and fraud to drug and drinking and driving offences.
She has written for the Les Juristes legal blog and has a keen interest in dissecting complex questions of law.
